Welcome to the 2021 IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition – Asia (ECCE-Asia 2021). We hope that ECCE-Asia 2021 brings together practicing engineers, researchers, and other professionals for interactive and multidisciplinary discussions on the latest advances in various areas related to energy conversion. The ECCE-Asia series of conferences has been organized for the first time in the vibrant city of Singapore. Due to uncertainties caused by COVID-19 it was decided that the conference will be conducted in the virtual mode.
The 2021 IEEE 12th Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition – Asia (ECCE-Asia 2021) is the pivotal international conference and exposition event on electrical and electromechanical energy conversion field which feature both industry-driven and application-oriented technical sessions, as expositions. The conference focuses on the latest technologies, strategies and challenges that are faced by power electronic systems. The conference theme is "Power Electronics and Renewable Energy for Sustainable Development".
The conference this year will include 5 plenary talks, 9 tutorials, and 88 technical sessions. The plenary talks will be delivered by Prof. Low Teck Seng (National Research Foundation, Singapore), Prof. Hirofumi Akagi (Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan), Prof. Ron S.Y. Hui (University of Hong Kong and Imperial College London), Prof. Frede Blaabjerg (Alborg University, Denmark), and Dr. Thomas Reindl (National University of Singapore). There are 9 tutorial sessions comprising of both industrial and academic speakers.
The technical sessions are comprised of 11 main tracks and 9 special sessions. The topics for main technical tracks cover research and activities across all fields related to power electronics. Apart from the regular sessions, ECCE-Asia 2021 hosts special sessions to identify and focus on specific emerging fields of research in power electronics and drives. The topics for these special sessions range from very specific topics in power electronics to interdisciplinary areas to emerging trends.
The organising commitee believes that ECCE-Asia 2021 will provide you interesting plenary talks, technical sessions and it will be a rewarding and fulfilling experience!
